  • review rating 5  New Owners and all of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Seriously the best camping trip ever. We just went this past Labor Day weekend. Met the coolest people there. Our son loved paying on the swings and going to the ice cream social. The owners put on fun little events here. I entered their chili contest! They also had BINGO, and a movie night for the family and kiddos. So impressed with this place. Clean facilities, freindly faces, and perfect location to hit the Atv trails.

review rating 5  I have known the owner for many years. She is a very straightforward person. I have personally camped there a few years ago, and it was great. The rules were not excessive, but were enforced, as they should be. What is the sense in having rules if they are not enforced. The rules were made so that everyone camping there could have a good experience, to ensure the safety of the campers, and preserve the natural setting. If you want to have loud, obnoxious parties, and invite a bunch of extra people to use the facilities and resources without paying for their own lot then this is not the campground for you. But if you want to relax, swim, play some yard games, and sit by the fire at night, this is one of the best campgrounds I've ever camped at.

  • review rating 5  In response to the post by Kaitlyn Johnson and Benjamin Smith....check out time is noon. Yes each site had to pay $10 extra for late check out of 5 PM. Only one camping unit per site and they new that upon making reservations. I did put them in a shady site as they were in tents...less than 40 ft to walk to the others camping...person making reservation understood that. Air temp was on Sunday air temp was between 65 and 68 cloudy with north wind and pool was not open...they were wearing sweatshirts all day. I told the lady that made all the reservations and she understood and so did the other campers. The other days the pool was open. Grandkids obeyed all the rules!! I have the bulletin from the DNR regarding transporting of wood. Responding to the post by Cinda Venton...her post is not accurate. We do have a full campground, campers are happy we have rules and make the campground a safe place....we have lots of kids here and they are having a good time. The pool is always in excellent condition!! In response to a recent review that has since been taken down...a gentleman did NOT stop at the office and register as the sign states upon entrance to the campground, he drove the wrong way on the one way roads...I stopped him and told him the correct way to drive...He then came into the office and told me he was a real estate person, I asked for his license and he said a not so nice word to me and slammed the door on the way out almost knocking over one of my campers coming into the office. We look out for our campers and do not like people who are unwilling to register driving through the campground. Therefore I feel his review is not correct due to the situation.

  • review rating 5  Had a great time despite reading other reviews about the place we have it a shot and found everyone has their own opinion, I found nothing wrong with the way the place was manage and maintained, they went a bit out of their way to accommodate us and 9 other friends we knew up there, we appreciate that a lot, It was quiet at night when you wanted to sleep, not so over crowded and the rules are for a reason we respect that and would happily return again, thank you Ann and ed.

  • review rating 4  This is a nice clean place to camp. Staff was very friendly. There were a couple of things that bothered me, though.....you are told not to bring your own firewood, but the price you charge is higher than others selling in your area. Also, I think closing the store at 6 is too early for the weekend, when you are likely to have campers. We did get to enjoy the trails and felt very relaxed there. Thank you

review rating 5  Great park. We were there with our camping group, 14 units and we all loved our time here. Already made reservations for next year.. Park, pool, restrooms and showers were all immaculent. We made use of their pavilion all weekend for our camping club activities and Jason and his group were so accommodating. Thanks again see you next year or sooner.
